Director of Annual Giving

SRHF Overview

Founded in 2002, Saint Rock Haiti Foundation (SRHF) operates a community health care system with two locations that serves over 75,000 registered patients and is staffed by 100 local clinical, administrative, and educational professionals.  In an effort to provide holistic care, our health care program includes clean water, agriculture, and educational initiatives. Working shoulder to shoulder with the people of Saint Rock, Haiti we are moving towards a brighter future by providing our patients with the quality health care they deserve and removing the barriers that prevent access to vital resources and opportunities for development.

Position

The Director of Annual Giving reports to the CEO and President and is responsible for the overall direction of Saint Rock Haiti Foundation’s Annual Giving and Communications programs.  The Director of Annual Giving works in partnership with the Board, Advancement Committee, staff members, and active volunteers. The position will be full-time and based in our Milton, MA office with the flexibility to work part of that time remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement an Annual Giving strategy to support SRHF’s operating budget.
  • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors with a focus on relationship building and growing philanthropic support.
  • Track prospects and donor activity through a CRM/database.
  • Maintain accuracy in database records and reporting.
  • Conduct analysis of Annual Fund programs and prepare reports for leadership.
  • Conceptualize and create written materials including appeals, quarterly newsletters, acknowledgments, and annual reports.
  • Create and execute an electronic communications plan and social media presence to enhance, complement, and support Annual Fund and other Advancement efforts.
  • Contribute to the success and engagement of the Advancement Committee.
  • Work closely with staff, coordinate volunteers, and oversee external event planner in support of fundraising events.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years’ experience working in an annual giving or related fundraising role.
  • Enthusiasm for SRHF mission.
  • Passion for issues of social justice on an international level.
  • Donor-focused mindset.
  • Fundraising event planning experience is a plus.
  • Experience using donor management/prospect tracing software (CRM).
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Business Products.
  • Demonstrated excellence in planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills (writing sample required).
  • Independent, creative, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to lead a team toward shared goals.
